A company in Kennesaw, GA seeks a skilled financial services professional to the fulfill the role of Part-time Bookkeeper Accountant Finance Professional for a group of clients. The ideal candidate is a service-oriented professional who is comfortable assisting clients in simplifying their complex personal finances. It involves working closely with clients both in person and remotely to guide them through the money management process and handle a variety of financial duties on their behalf. Travel to client locations in Cobb and Fulton counties is required.

This part-time position has a schedule of about 20 hours/week that will vary based on workload. There is flexibility to determine the work schedule within the scope of regular business hours.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Management of clients’ personal finances including paying bills
  • General bookkeeping duties including reviewing and posting transactional data, account reconciliation, general ledger balancing.
  • Creation of general financial statements
  • Assistance with gathering documents needed for tax filing purposes
  • Ongoing communication with clients’ other financial partners
  • Negotiation of rates on clients’ behalf with vendors

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of business.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or personal money management
  • Basic knowledge of personal income tax returns and forms
  • Strong quantitative skills and a finance/numbers-focused orientation
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks or Peachtree Accounting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Experience with Quicken strongly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior experience working with C-Suite executives and/or business owners preferred
  • Reliable transportation is required

Pay rate: $35/hour, plus paid time off
